According to latest rumors from Moore’s Law is Dead, the upcoming Intel 13th Gen Core Raptor Lake-S desktop processors are rumored to be released in late Q3 of 2022, which means to be launched in September 2022. While the new 13th Gen Core Raptor Lake-H/HX/U mobile series should launch in the fourth quarter, along with next gen NVIDIA & AMD GPUs. At Investor Meeting 2022 Intel confirmed Raptor Lake is to feature up to 24 cores and 32 threads. This configuration is achieved by combining 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficient cores. The company also confirmed Raptor Lake CPUs will be socket-compatible with LGA1700 motherboards already available for Alder Lake systems.
